Pastoral Support Assistant Rubery, Birmingham Start Date: ASAP Supply Position | Full-Time

A welcoming and supportive secondary school in Rubery, Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and resilient Pastoral Support Assistant to join their team immediately on a supply basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people both academically and emotionally, helping students overcome barriers to learning and promoting positive behaviour across the school.

The Role:

• Providing pastoral and behavioural support to students across KS3 and KS4
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Supporting attendance, wellbeing, and safeguarding procedures
• Managing behaviour and helping create a positive learning environment
• Working closely with the pastoral and senior leadership teams

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with secondary-aged students
• Be confident managing behaviour and supporting vulnerable pupils
• Be approachable, empathetic, and resilient
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
